Fantastic amount collected for Broxbourne Food Bank
With Harvest being the school theme of the week at the beginning of October, our students put their minds and their creativity into the annual hamper competition. And once again they donated an amazing amount of items, all wrapped up in some spectacular packages, with some touching messages as well. There were hampers of all shapes and sizes: a baked bean can, a wheelbarrow, a castle and a couple of pigs!! There wasn't much space left on the stage in the New Hall once all the donations had been collected: staff from Broxbourne Food Bank had to make two trips with their van! in total over a tonne of groceries and other items were donated. They were overwhelmed by the amount and very grateful for the effort and care that all the students had put in.
The overall winners of the competition were 7A and 7F - well done!
