Sixth Form Dress Code
The school is noted for the smart appearance of its students and those in the Sixth Form play a leading role in this.
A matching two piece suit comprising either:
A tailored skirt of at least knee length and not of stretch fabric, with matching suit jacket
Tailored trousers, with matching suit jacket
Smart tailored dress, of at least knee length, with matching suit jacket
These may be worn with:
A smart shirt or blouse. Shirts/blouses must have a sleeve and collar
Smart closed-toe shoes or boots (with a low heel for health and safety reasons)
Suit (two or three piece)
Shirt and tie
Smart shoes or boots
For all Sixth Form students, suits or dresses should be in plain business colours
(for example black, navy blue or grey).
In all respects, formal styles and lengths are required.
No body studs other than earrings are allowed.
Hair styles and colour should be appropriate for a working environment.
All clothing should be clean and in good repair.
STUDENTS NOT ADHERING TO THE DRESS CODE WILL BE SENT HOME TO CHANGE.
In cases where there is uncertainty, decisions will be at the discretion of either the Director of Sixth Form, the Director of Student Progress, Year 12 or the Learning Manager: Sixth Form.
