Herts & Essex is delighted that five of their Sixth Form students have been successful in the application and interview process and have received the following offers from Oxford and Cambridge universities: Alice Dyer at Regent’s Park College, Oxford to read Philosophy & Theology; Adele Marriott to read Law at Worcester College, Oxford; Catherine Wardle at Selwyn College, Cambridge to read French & Spanish; Yolanda Wintle at Lady Margaret Hall, Oxford to read Medicine. Last year’s Head Boy, Monty Gould, who completed his A Levels in 2015 and took a gap year, has an unconditional offer from Worcester College, Oxford to read Economics & Management.
Penny Richardson, Director of Sixth Form, commented: “I am thrilled for our students who have worked so hard to achieve this success. My thanks must go to our highly experienced Sixth Form team and outstanding teachers who have supported our students through every step of their application. As well as our Oxbridge applicants our Sixth Form students are receiving offers on a daily basis from the best universities in the UK or prestigious school leavers programmes and I am very proud of their achievements. All of our students are now focused on achieving the best A Level grades that will secure these offers in the summer.”
